The HRMIS Specialist is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS). This role ensures data integrity, drives system efficiency, and provides crucial technical support across all HR functions. Additionally, the specialist plays a vital, hands-on role in supporting recruitment efforts by coordinating interview logistics and conducting thorough background investigations.
Manage system configurations, security access, user roles, and system workflows to align with organizational structure and HR policies.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all HR data within the system through regular audits, data cleaning, and reconciliation processes.
Develop, generate, and distribute eports, and metrics to support HR, Finance, and leadership decision-making.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and deliver training sessions to HR staff and employees on how to effectively use the HRMIS features, self-service portals, and reporting tools.
Identify opportunities to automate HR processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
Upload and maintain employee records ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Data Protection Act.
Coordinate and schedule interview logistics across multiple departments, ensuring timely communication with candidates, hiring managers and panel members.
Manage candidate communication related to interview schedules.
Manage the background check and screening process for all selected candidates.
Maintain meticulous records of all recruitment activities, interview feedback, and background check results within the Applicant Tracking System in the HRMIS.
Ensure seamless transfer of new hire data from the ATS into the core HRMIS for efficient onboarding and employee record creation.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience on HRMIS administration and support.
Proven experience administering and configuring a major HRIS platform.
Expert-level knowledge of HRIS functions, data flow, and security protocols.
Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate complex data sets into actionable business insights.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate tasks under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of best practices for Data Protectoion Act.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and strategic approach to troubleshooting system issues and developing long-term solutions.
