Vault Credit Corporation is seeking an experienced Equipment Insurance Administrator to support our equipment finance portfolio by ensuring all contracts maintain compliant and adequate insurance coverage. This role is critical in mitigating risk, protecting the lessor or borrower’s interest, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and insurance partners. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, knowledgeable in commercial insurance requirements, and able to manage high-volume workflows with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Process Requirements
• Review and process external insurance policies to ensure all coverage requirements are met for funded contracts with accuracy to achieve turnaround times.
• Monitor insurance expirations and cancellations; request updated or renewed policies as required.
• Quote, bill, and coordinate credits for Insurance Protection Fees (IPF) when applicable.
• Liaise with customers, insurance brokers, and internal teams to confirm compliance with insurance obligations.
• Adhere to established vehicle ownership, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Prepare and maintain operational and administrative reports to support day-to-day activities, including handling insurance claims .
• Complete month-end deliverables accurately and within scheduled timelines.
• Meet established turnaround times and service-level expectations.
• Be confident to participate as a subject-matter expert (SME) in departmental projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support the team in achieving operational KPIs related to accuracy, efficiency, quality, and customer service.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and overall productivity.
• Provide support to teammates during peak periods or absences.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of experience in insurance administration, equipment finance, leasing, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance requirements, including property, liability, and equipment coverage.
• Experience reviewing insurance certificates, policies, endorsements, and cancellations.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and comfort working in multiple systems simultaneously.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within defined service levels.
• Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is an asset.
