Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Transports the Executive Director/Marketing Manager and/or any of his designated guests/business partners/associates between destinations safely and in a timely manner, as and when required.
2. Uses navigation apps to determine optimal routes, checks climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take to ensure passenger(s) reach(es) to destination safely and on time.
3. Maintains a diary to record all assignments and liaises with the Personal Executive Assistant of the Executive Director/Marketing Manager, or other Assistants as needed, for any updates/ changes to appointments etc. daily to ensure that all travel arrangements can be accommodated efficiently.
4. Maintains the vehicle by carrying out routine inspections and keeping it clean and in keeping with the required standards by law. Ensure road readiness of vehicle before use.
5. Ensures that the vehicle is serviced in accordance with its schedule, reporting any identifiable electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder the smooth working of the car and notifies the Personal Executive Assistant of any issues.
6. Ensures that all repairs are undertaken once approved.
7. Secures receipts for vehicle repairs and maintenance and any relevant records/reports are submitted to the JNG Group in a timely manner.
8. Ensures that insurance and driving license are up to date, and that all the required documents of the vehicle and license are in place while driving any vehicle.
9. Abides by the road traffic laws and regulations ensuring that there are no deviations from this to ensure the safety of those who are travelling in the vehicle.
10. Carries out other assignments that may be requested by the Executive Director/Marketing Manager, including personal errands.

Other

1. Assists other departments once prior approval is given and services are not required by Marketing Manager or his designate.
2. Dresses in business attire and discharges obligations in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
3. May be asked to work late during the week and/or on weekends.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least CSEC/O’Level Mathematics and English or any other relevant combination of experience
• At least five (5) years’ driving experience with Senior Executive or Diplomat
• Valid Driving Permit
• Defensive driving certificate
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues
• Clean accident record
