Position Overview
The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities across multiple work sites. This role ensures that all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with building codes, project specifications, and company standards. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities across multiple project sites.
- Ensure all construction work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Interpret and review building plans, drawings, and blueprints.
- Oversee site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, track timelines, and report any delays or issues to management.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to standards.
- Assist with project scheduling, resource planning, and material management.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Resolve on-site challenges promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and site records.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing multiple work sites simultaneously.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
