S.M. JALEEL & COMPANY LIMITED, one of the leaders in the Caribbean region, involved in the manufacturing and distributing of non-alcoholic beverages, with subsidiaries in the global market, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Group Human Resources Manager.
Reporting to Vice President Human Resources – the Human Resource Manager will lead a team in the development and management of the Human Resources function at an operational level, including the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures and plans.
Responsibilities:
The HR Manager will provide operational direction of all the functional areas and subsets of Human Resources Management for the Company.
- Developing an appropriate framework of HR policies and instruments and providing timely and appropriate advice and information on HR related issues.
- Organizing, supervising and monitoring the work of the HR team and its contribution to the objectives assigned.
- Overseeing the implementation of efficient recruitment procedures, developing and implementing career development schemes;
- Formulating and administering training plans for organizations's staff ensuring the continuous professional and personal development of staff in line with the competence and skills needs of the Organization;
- Ensuring effective communication with our team members and contribute to effective social dialogue with staff on HR issues;
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- University Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- HR professional with at least 5 to 8 years experience as a practitioner in Human Resources Management, with 2-3 years at a senior/management level.
- Strong operational background, with exceptional planning and execution skills -Ability to set priorities, to plan and organise tasks and to use resources effectively and efficiently to ensure work completion while achieving results; analytical capacities, negotiating skills
- In-depth knowledge of Industrial Relations practice and legal requirements.
- Experience in the development of performance metrics and the conduct of performance appraisals and job evaluation.
