JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and execution of blasting and spray-painting, mechanical, electrical, welding, and general maintenance operations. Maintenance staff including Electricians, Welders, and Mechanics in DCF will report to this position.
EDUCATION
- Minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level passes (including Math and English) AND
- Relevant tertiary level industry qualifications.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in plant maintenance operations.
- Previous experience in an oil-service / industry environment would be an asset.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Maintenance Coordinator reports directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager.
FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates and Administers the CMMS Software to produce reports. Generates Maintenance Work Requests, Work Orders and any other documents as required.
- Conducts and performs monthly safety inspections and toolbox meetings according to the Company’s Policies.
- Maintains proper records of all asset specification documents. Ensures that all maintenance related documents (Work requests, Work orders, Risk Assessments and JSA’s) pertaining to scheduled, preventive and corrective maintenance are prepared and maintained in accordance to the department procedures.
- Ensures that the general maintenance of the work areas is kept in an orderly fashion.
- Liaises with various stakeholders within the department and coordinates daily tasks with team leaders pertaining to maintenance operations.
- Ensures equipment is maintained in optimum working conditions and liaises with the maintenance department for the timely completion of OEM PM’s.
- Ensures all deadlines are met and continual updates are sent to the Maintenance Operations Manager.
