About the Role

Finance Operations Manager is required to lead the finance and accounting functions for a growing business group. This leadership position oversees accounts payable, receivable, and reporting while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and driving financial process improvement.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead all finance operations including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, NIS, VAT, and PAYE regulations.
• Oversee preparation of management reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
• Manage annual audits and internal control reviews.
• Support automation and system optimisation initiatives within the finance function.
• Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to finance team members.
• Collaborate with leadership to align financial planning with strategic objectives.

• ACCA-qualified or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7–10 years of experience in progressively senior finance roles.
• Strong understanding of Trinidad and Tobago’s financial and tax legislation.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and modern ERP/accounting systems.
