Utility Attendant
(3- month contract)

JOB SUMMARY:
To perform routine, general maintenance and manipulative tasks throughout the Bank as well as off-site buildings in accordance with an excellent customer service approach. This function entails overtime work as required.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provides logistical support for workspace setup and breakdown, including installation of partitions, desks, and workstations.
- Relocates equipment and supplies based on departmental requests and assisted in preparing areas for refurbishment projects.
- Provides physical support for internal and external events and meetings, ensuring smooth execution and setup.
- Provides Bank archival support -shredding and the movement or disposal of archived materials as required. Supports the Canteen/Stationery stores with the distribution of stationery and canteen supplies throughout the Bank and the maintenance of the loading bay.
- Provides reprographic support - printing, photocopying and binding documents- as required. Also afford troubleshooting support for the photocopier/printers as required.
- Provides physical support for official Bank events, including assisting with inventory exercises.
- Accompany service providers during maintenance activities to ensure access and support.
- Maintains all work equipment storage areas in a clean and orderly condition e.g. Vault and KIM destruction area.
- Performs other related duties as may be required consistent with the department's functions.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND TRAINING NECESSARY FOR THE JOB:
- Evidence of completion of five (5) years secondary level education.
- Basic training in vocational skills/trades, or a combination of experience of training.
- Sound skills in the lifting and pushing of heavy objects.
- Ability to recognize hazards and take measures to avoid them in accordance with OSHA standards,
- Basic knowledge of preventative and general maintenance of machines e.g. photocopiers.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 1 year experience in a similar environment.
