EDUCATION, SKILLS AND TRAINING NECESSARY FOR THE JOB:

• Evidence of completion of five (5) years secondary level education and/ vocational training.
• Working knowledge of the city and the appropriate routes.
• Sound knowledge of relevant protocols.
• Sound time management skills.
• Sound customer relations skills.
• Computer skills.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

At least 1 year experience in a similar environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

To collect and deliver items on the bank’s behalf, receive visitors and its tenants to the Bank, provide access passes and information as required, and route incoming, outgoing and intra-system telephone calls and messages. 

 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects correspondence and packages at varying times and places and delivers them to the appropriate destination.

• Maintains a log/report regarding the receipt and distribution of incoming/outgoing packages from staff, customers and visitors and updates online incoming mail system.

• Receives the Bank’s visitors, provides customer service and directs them appropriately.

• Performs franking for outgoing mail and updates log report for franked mail.

• Routes incoming/outgoing and intra system telephone calls.

• Performs other related duties as may be required, consistence with the department’s functions.
