Duties & Role

• Operating cash registers, handling transactions accurately, and processing various   forms of payment (cash,credit/debit cards and cheques)
• Greeting customers warmly and providing exceptional, friendly service
• Answering customer questions and providing information about products or services
• Cross selling products during brief interactions
• Attaining targets as it relates to reviews
• Making recommendations to managers / supervisors to improve procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
• Assisting with stocking, bagging, and other light duties as needed
• Operation of point of sale software during operations
