Job Summary
The Sorting Supervisor (Night Shift) is responsible for overseeing the sorting operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of packages. This role requires strong leadership and attention to detail to maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of shipments.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing items are accurately recorded, and promptly identify and report any discrepancies or damaged packages.
- Oversee the check-in, verification, and sorting of packages to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Assign tasks, set performance targets, and monitor productivity and quality of work.
- Train, coach, and support sorting staff to promote continuous improvement and adherence to company standards.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and safety protocols within the sorting area.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and management to ensure seamless transfer and dispatch of packages.
- Prepare and submit daily operational reports to management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
 
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ supervisory experience in a logistics, warehouse, or shipping environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be available to work night shifts and weekends as required.
