• Performing routine dental exams, cleanings, and preventive care

• Diagnosing and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay

• Administering local anesthesia and perform restorative procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, bridges)

• Conducting extractions and root canal treatments when necessary

• Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care

• Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests

• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment plans

• Collaborating with dental assistants, hygienists, and specialists

• Staying current with dental technologies and best practices

 Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree

• Valid  dental license and certifications

• CPR/BLS certification (preferred)

• Must be registerable with the BVI Medical and Dental Council

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

• Multi disciplinary Private practice

• May involve weekend or evening hours 

• Use of dental instruments, x-ray machines, and digital charting system
