Apex Medical Center is seeking a General Dentist (DDS, DMD) to join its practice in the British Virgin Islands.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Performing routine dental exams, cleanings, and preventive care
Diagnosing and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
Administering local anesthesia and perform restorative procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, bridges)
Conducting extractions and root canal treatments when necessary
Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests
Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment plans
Collaborating with dental assistants, hygienists, and specialists
Staying current with dental technologies and best practices
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
Valid dental license and certifications
CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Must be registerable with the BVI Medical and Dental Council
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Multi disciplinary Private practice
May involve weekend or evening hours
Use of dental instruments, x-ray machines, and digital charting system
