Main Purpose of Job:
The Manager – Security will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a secure environment for all stakeholders within the Group’s facilities while overseeing the organization’s physical security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the protection of personnel, assets, and facilities. This role involves the strategic development and management of a comprehensive security program through outsourced alliances and covering services such as static armed and unarmed security, rapid response patrol, and high-risk escorts while maintaining compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, crisis management expertise, and a deep understanding of corporate security operations. The Manager – Security will conduct security risk assessments, managing security systems and technology, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and overseeing security personnel to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Security Strategy & Risk Management
- Develop and implement physical security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with the Group’s security objectives.
- Conduct security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry security regulations and standards.
- Establish and maintain security metrics and reporting to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
Security Systems & Technology
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborates with the ICT department to integrate cyber-physical security solutions.
- Manage security incident reporting and analytics to improve response and prevention strategies.
- Deploy resources strategically across the company to optimize security coverage.
Security Personnel & Vendor Management
- Oversee the supervision and coordination of security personnel, including contract security personnel.
- Develop and conduct security training programs for employees and security teams.
- Manage relationships with external security vendors, consultants, and law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure security personnel are well-trained, equipped, and compliant with company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of contracted security service providers to maintain optimal security standards.
- Address and resolve issues related to security personnel and contracted services.
Incident Response & Crisis Management
- Support emergency response planning and drills, including fire, workplace violence, and active shooter scenarios.
- Support in the development and implementation of business continuity and crisis management plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams and first responders during security incidents.
Facility & Executive Protection
- Oversee security measures for company facilities, ensuring all locations meet corporate security standards.
- Develop executive protection plans for senior leadership and high-profile employees as needed.
- Manage security logistics for corporate events, travel, and high-risk operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) – ASIS International.
- Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) or Certified Protection Officer (CPO)
- 5+ years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or risk management.
- Experience managing security personnel, vendors, and technology systems.

- Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
- Deep knowledge of physical security principles, access control, and surveillance technologies.
- Familiarity with emergency response planning, risk assessments, and security compliance standards (OSHA, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Ability to analyze security data and trends to develop proactive security measures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with stakeholders and law enforcement.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
