The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the restaurant’s overall marketing strategy. This includes building brand awareness, driving foot traffic, overseeing digital presence, managing promotions and events, and supporting customer retention. The successful candidate will blend creative thinking with data-driven decision-making and possess a strong understanding of both the local and tourist markets in Jamaica.
Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business goals.
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, including visual identity, messaging, and tone.
Identify and execute brand partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships.
Oversee content creation and daily management of all digital platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, website, etc.).
Plan and execute digital campaigns to promote new menu items, events, and promotions.
Analyze social media insights and engagement metrics to optimize content strategy.
Plan and coordinate in-house and off-site events, such as live music nights, themed dining experiences, or seasonal activations.
Work with local media and influencers to boost public relations and online presence.
Lead promotional activities during key local events (Carnival, Independence Day, Reggae Month, etc.).
Develop and manage customer loyalty programs, feedback channels, and review management strategies.
Monitor customer trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation.
Track marketing KPIs including ROI, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and campaign performance.
Present regular reports and insights to senior management, along with actionable recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of proven experience in marketing, preferably within the food, beverage, or hospitality industry.
Demonstrated success in managing social media accounts, running ad campaigns, and executing marketing events.
Strong copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills.
Knowledge of local Jamaican culture, food trends, and tourism landscape is essential.
Proficiency in digital tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, etc.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
