As part of a growing retail organization, you will play a key role in maintaining strong internal controls over cash handling, inventory, and supplier payments — while supporting the management team with timely financial insights.

What you will do?
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports within set deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
- Review and verify bank reconciliation statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard cash, inventory, and company assets.
- Oversee recording and reconciliation of sales, supplier payments, and expenses.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance support.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA Level II or equivalent certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
