Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

a)      Manufacturing and assembling all components for the production of High, Medium and Low voltage Switchgear that the company produces.

b)      Reading drawings and fabricating components parts for panel interiors for final assembly i.e.

• Cutting, punching and bending metal sheets to produce Chassis.
• Cutting, punching and bending copper lengths to produce bus bars.
• Cutting, punching and bending copper lengths to produce breaker straps.
• Cutting, punching and assembling neutral bars.

c)      Conforming to and maintaining all international standards set in the production of Switchgear.

d)     Preparing the Hz, Vert Bus bar & All ACBs & MCCBs Links as per drawings.

e)      Ensuring all panel parts are fitted and screwed in properly.

f)       Performing service jobs off the compound as they may arise i.e.

g)      Fabricating required component parts in house and install in panels on site.

h)      Follows company operating procedures, health and safety regulations and ISO requirements.

i)        Performing other related duties as required.

Qualifications 

• A full CXC certificate which includes Mathematics & English A.

• Certificate in Basic Electrical Installation from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in the electrical field.
• Basic Electrical Knowledge.
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and hand tools.

• Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
