The Stock Control Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Finished Goods stock control operations with Finished Goods Warehouse staff, as well as the Distribution, Sales and Finance departments to avoid stock losses and have accurate reporting of Finished Goods stock. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate internal controls and practices are in place and adhered to, in order to promote transparency and accountability, add significant value, enhance risk management, governance and compliance, and improve operational efficiency within Finished Goods Warehouse operations.

• Verify the proper receipt from source, internal movement within Finished Goods, dispatch, receipt of undelivered and returned Finished Goods into, within or from the Finished Goods Department according to prescribed procedures
• Follow that loads and unloads are checked according to prescribed procedures
• Track, investigate, solve shortages, overages or any other stock issues that may arise during Warehouse operations
• Initiate stock write-off processes and follow up to completion
• Initiate all Finance stock counts for the Finished Goods Warehouse in the ERP system.
• Conduct weekly spot counts as per standard

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Management or a related field

• Accounting certification would be considered an asset

• Forklift License would be considered an asset

• Knowledge of ERP Systems / GP would be considered an asset

• Must be able to work on a 3 shift system (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm & 10pm to 6am).
