Career Opportunity: Chief Transformation Officer (CTO)

Location: Head Office – Antigua (with oversight across all jurisdictions)
Scope of Role and Primary Objectives
The Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) is the strategic architect and driving force behind the organization’s digital and operational transformation. Reporting directly to the General Manager and engaging with the Board of Directors, the CTO will lead the Digital Transformation Office (DTO), ensuring that innovation, agility, and customer-centricity are embedded across the Bank’s operations.
This role involves translating the digital transformation roadmap into measurable business outcomes that enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer experience. The CTO will guide all change initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, value realization, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Champion the organization’s transformation agenda, driving innovation and sustainable change across all business units.
- Develop and implement the transformation roadmap in alignment with ACB’s digital transformation framework, ensuring governance, structure, and delivery excellence.
- Partner with senior leadership to embed digital capabilities that support the bank’s strategic vision and long-term competitiveness.
Programme Delivery and Value Realization
- Oversee the execution of digital initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track progress, ROI, and benefits realization.
- Ensure that transformation outcomes deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Operational Excellence and Change Management
- Build and manage the Digital Transformation Office (DTO), ensuring cross-functional coordination and alignment.
- Partner with HR, IT, and Operations to strengthen skills and capabilities required for continuous innovation.
- Maintain transparent reporting to the GM and Board on transformation progress, risks, and business impact.
Governance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, including ECCB, ISO 20022, and PCI DSS.
- Implement risk management practices that mitigate transformation-related risks and safeguard organizational stability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in financial services, consulting, or technology, leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience setting up or managing a DTO or PMO under recognized frameworks (Design Thinking).
- Strong understanding of core banking systems, CRM, digital payments, cloud solutions, data analytics, process improvement and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of Communications Infrastructure, Systems Architecture, and Platform Virtualization.
- Expertise in DevOps and Modern Delivery Tools for the delivery of high-performance applications and services.
