The collections agent is responsible for negotiating and resolving delinquent account balances with customers while adhering to federal and state regulations, high standards of compliance, and company policies.

Essential Functions
- Contact consumers regarding debt to resolve past-due balances; manage these consumers throughout the collection process from point of contact to debt resolution.
- Handle a large volume of calls daily through manual dialing and automated dialer methods.
- Secure payment arrangements while establishing rapport and maintaining effective communication with the consumer.
- Achieve and exceed monthly collection targets set forth by the company while employing a high level of professionalism and compliance with all federal, state, and company guidelines.
- Be receptive and responsive to feedback and coaching from various sources.
