Core Functions:

•	Spearhead the development of the company’s investment strategies for its local and regional balance sheet portfolios
•	Prepare yearly investment income budgets (interest income, fixed income and equity trading revenue)
•	Oversee the management of the company’s balance sheet portfolios (local and regional, where applicable)
•	Provide leadership and supervision for the portfolio management teams (local and regional)  
•	Develop and deliver strategies to increase investment income 
•	Manage investment-related risks in both local and foreign currency assets and liabilities
•	Manage exposure and liquidity in both local and foreign currency assets and liabilities
•	Assist in the development of new investment products

Qualifications & Experience:

•	Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields
•	CFA designation would be an asset
•	A minimum of six (6) years’ work experience in portfolio management, securities trading and or related fields including at least three (3) years’ experience at a managerial level
