Job Summary:
The Servi Tech Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, installation, and maintenance of appliances, electronics, and furniture sold by Courts Jamaica Ltd. The technician ensures timely and high-quality service delivery while maintaining professional conduct and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls within 24 hours and provide diagnosis and parts requisition within 48 hours.
- Complete repairs not requiring parts within 48 hours; repairs requiring parts must be completed within 48 hours of part receipt.
- Submit accurate part requisitions with serial numbers and photos as required.
- Perform repairs at customer premises when necessary, especially for non-transportable items.
- Ensure safe and clean transportation of products and parts.
- Return repaired items in good working condition, clean, and with all accessories.
- Obtain customer signatures and submit pre/post-repair photos.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous behavior at all times.
- Display company-issued ID and comply with Unicomer’s Code of Ethics.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and maintain flexible availability, especially during peak seasons.
- Provide a 3-month warranty on all repairs, excluding user-related faults.
Performance Expectations:
- Timely updates and communication with the Service Department.
- Accurate documentation and adherence to spare part requisition procedures.
- Compliance with safety regulations and technical standards.
- Accountability for workmanship, including third-party claims and warranty denials due to incomplete documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in appliance or electronics repair.
- Technical certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Clean police record and valid identification.
