The Financial Services Commission (FSC) is an integrated financial services supervisor/regulator. Our mission is to regulate and supervise the securities, insurance, trust and corporate service providers and private pensions industries, for the protection of their customers, thereby enhancing public confidence in the financial sector of Jamaica.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implement and deploy HR System, including core modules like employee profiles, leave management, and performance appraisals.
- Implement and deploy FSC Website and Subdomains, including platform for hosting CRM portals for internal and external customers.
- Develop secure, user-friendly workflows to replace paper-based processes.
- Automate routine processes such as reporting and approvals.
- Implement secure access controls and encryption to protect sensitive data.
- Work closely with the Cybersecurity Team to identify and close vulnerabilities.
- Translate project goals into technical plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Test, debug, and deploy systems while minimizing disruption to operations.
- Train stakeholders within the FSC to confidently use the new systems.
- Provide ongoing technical support during and after rollout.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (master’s preferred).
Experience:
- Relevant professional experience in the field.
- Exposure to regulatory/enterprise ICT systems.
- Training in Project management
- Developing systems in PHP, Python, .Net, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
- Web Deployment on Microsoft and AWS platforms
