Job Function
The Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the production, distribution, and market growth of FTO Brands Limited frozen pizza line. This role bridges operations, sales, and marketing — ensuring consistent high-quality production, smooth distributor relations, and aggressive retail growth. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented in operations and entrepreneurial in building partnerships to drive sales. All activities must conform to the established guidelines and standards and must be in accordance with health and safety standards
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production of Say Cheese frozen pizzas at the manufacturing facility.
- Implement and monitor strict quality control systems to ensure product consistency, safety, and compliance with food standards.
- Work closely with Mario’s production team to continuously improve recipes, processes, and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels to balance production with demand.
- Oversee purchasing of raw materials and packaging to ensure cost efficiency, reliability, and quality.
- Monitor wastage and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Act as the primary liaison between Mario’s (manufacturer) and Distributor.
- Build and strengthen the business relationship with Distributor to ensure smooth distribution logistics, timely orders, and effective sales support.
- Resolve supply chain or distribution issues proactively.
- Manage receivables, credits and payables as it relates to the business.
- Visit supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, pharmacies, and gas stations to ensure ,Proper product placement and visibility, Correct stock rotation (FIFO – first in, first out) and Adequate stock levels and timely reordering.
- Work directly with store managers and purchasing officers to secure prime shelf space and grow sales.
- Build long-term relationships with retail partners to ensure priority treatment of Say Cheese pizzas.
- Coordinate in-store promotions within stores to enhance sales and ensure effective merchandising of products
- Develop and implement marketing strategies (promotions, in-store activations, social media tie-ins, partnerships).
- Identify and execute sales initiatives to grow revenue and expand reach.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to refine strategies.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand distribution into additional channels and retailers.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure consistent and effective execution of marketing strategies.
- Monitoring and Evaluating Campaign Performance by generating and analysing
- Manage Brand Merchandising to attract customers and optimize sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG, food production, or retail/distribution management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, sales, and marketing within a consumer food brand.
- Proven ability to negotiate and foster strong distributor/retailer relationships.
- Hands-on leader comfortable with fieldwork, factory oversight, and corporate strategy.
