Job Summary
The Spa Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the spa, including staff supervision, client satisfaction, budgeting, inventory, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a blend of leadership, business acumen, and passion for wellness and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable performance.
- Record keeping must be accurate
- Monitor and manage spa scheduling, ensuring optimal therapist utilization and minimal client wait time.
- Maintain a clean environment
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies, equipment, and retail products.
- Run small errands
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
- Work with the directors on budgeting, financial planning, and performance targets.
- Analyze performance of staff and drive revenue through strategic planning and upselling.
- Support marketing efforts including promotions, events, and social media collaboration and ensure that staff does as well.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff including therapists, receptionists, and support personnel.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Address staff issues promptly and effectively
Customer Service & Experience
- Prioritize customer service
- Resolve guest issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Monitor client feedback and implement improvements based on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate on client retention strategies.
Job Requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and industry trends.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Management/Customer Service /Hospitality
