Position: Event Designer

Position Overview:
We are looking for a visionary Event Designer who can dream boldly and execute beautifully. This role is perfect for someone who understands the power of design to transform spaces, evoke emotion, and tell compelling visual stories. As an Event Designer with our team, you won’t just decorate events - you’ll curate experiences.
You will work closely with clients to interpret their vision, translate it into cohesive design concepts, and bring those concepts to life through expert styling, thoughtful details, and high-impact décor. From florals and fabric draping to custom installations and spatial transformations, your creativity and passion will shape the look and feel of unforgettable moments.
We’re looking for someone with natural style, a strong design sensibility, and hands-on experience in event or interior styling. The ability to communicate ideas clearly and inspire confidence in clients is essential. While technical skills like mood board creation and layout planning are a plus, what we value most is your eye for design, positive energy, and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design event décor themes and visual narratives based on client goals and brand/style identity
- Lead creative client consultations, presenting concepts and storytelling how the final look will come together
- Transform venues and event spaces using elements such as floral design, draping, props, custom installations, and curated décor pieces
- Create style guides or mood boards to convey concepts (training available if needed)
- Assist with spatial planning and layout design of event spaces
- Source or craft décor items and materials
- Oversee on-site setup and breakdown of all design elements
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution
- Stay informed on current trends in event design, styling, and materials
Qualifications and Competencies:
- 4+ years of experience in event design, floral design, interior styling, or a related creative field
- Strong design eye with a passion for aesthetics, color, texture, and detail
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey design concepts to clients
- Experience with hands-on décor work such as floral styling, draping, installations, or set design
- Collaborative mindset with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days as needed
- Familiarity with digital tools for design (e.g., Canva, Pinterest, or layout software) is a bonus, but not required
