Core Function:

As a tour guide, you are responsible for consistently delivering a safe, fun-packed experience providing accurate tour information to guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Represent Chukka Caribbean professionally at all times.
2. Conduct oneself consistent with the policies and procedures of the company.
3. Ensure that you’re properly groomed and neatly attired in the company uniform at all times.
4. Carryout daily operation to ensure a smooth and efficient flow.
5. Report all incidents and accidents to the Team Leader/Supervisor immediately.
6. Complete accurately all incidents and accidents reports.  Information must be communicated to the Team Leader/Supervisor immediately.
7. Conduct maintenance according to schedule.
8. Ensure that the area and facilities are clean and free of litter to enhance the location.
9. Adhere to all company standards and policy.
10. Maintain a harmonious team spirit among team members by maintaining friendliness, professionalism and adherence to company vision and values.
11. Assist with periodic inventory of resources and equipment.

1. Ensure to report any equipment failure, malfunction & breakdowns.

13. Conform to all safety practices that are put in place.
14. Conduct the tour in accordance with the environmental policy of the organization.
15. Conduct schedule tour and equipment inspection and accurately log the information.
16. Ensure that all guest have signed disclaimers and waivers.
17. Conduct daily and weekly inspection when assigned to do so by the CSO and ACSO.
18. Report any inspection or tour abnormality to the Team Leader (CSO) immediately.
19. Conduct regular washing and sanitization of equipment.
20. Take ownership of all equipment whether assigned or unassigned.
21. Ensure equipment are adequate and clean prior to guests arrival
22. Prepare guest for tours in accordance to safety standards and company policies.
23. Conduct orientation in accordance to company standards.
24. Ensure that all guests are provided with accurate tour information.
25. Carry guest on tour in accordance to training and SOP.
26. Conduct pre-danger zone checks to ensure that all equipment is secured properly.
27. Connect and disconnect the guest from the elements of the tour.
28. Ensure that guests adhere to all safety procedures.
29. Recommend the removal of anyone from the tour who fails to meet the minimum requirements or who breaches the safety procedures .
30. Recommend the discontinuation of a tour for safety reasons.
31. Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
32. Attend regularly scheduled meetings.
33. Conduct minor repairs of tour area, resources and infrastructure.
34. Work on other locations as assigned.

     35. Effectively carry out all other assigned duties from time to time by your supervisor or         manager.
