Position Overview:
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities for the resort, ensuring that supplies and materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. This role involves collaborating with various departments to assess needs and maintain optimal stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the resort’s goals.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers to establish effective partnerships and negotiate terms and contracts.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of goods and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast purchasing needs and ensure adequate stock of essential items.
• Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and best practices.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to product quality and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Adhere to budgetary constraints and maintain cost-effectiveness in all purchasing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
