GODDARD CATERING GROUP (JAMAICA) LIMITED, is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 locations across the Caribbean and Latin America. We are seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled and highly motivated individual to join the team in Kingston in the capacity of Accounts Assistant - Pricing.
The Position:
The Accounts Assistant - Pricing will assist the Country Finance Manager to manage and maintain our pricing portfolio. As the Accounts Assistant for pricing, you will produce accurate prices for agreed menus and dry store items. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating and channeling menu specifications and relevant information between departments.

The selected candidate would be responsible for ensuring that:
- All priced menus are completed accurately, and prices are updated in the relevant accounting system no later than one week after the airlines’ menus presentation (if there is not more than one presentation in any one week).
- Review prices related to events and offsite locations quarterly.
- Develop pricing strategies and mechanisms.
- All photo manuals are prepared and distributed to the relevant departments, whenever possible, at least two weeks prior to the start of a menu cycle.
- All information related to airline menu specifications is distributed to the respective customer airlines and all relevant departments as specified by the Catering Manager.
- Perform weekly cross checking of airline menu specifications and customer catering delivery note specifications or perform checks based on customer requirements.
- Maintain proper and transparent documentation on pricing per customer.
- Compute credits or debits amounts deriving from back dated approved price changes.
- Perform at least five (5) revenue audits quarterly.
APPLICANTS SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting/business administration
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience in the Accounting field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience with accounting packages, especially SAGE ACCPAC and SAP, would be an asset.
- The ability to work flexible hours, public holidays and weekends.
- Excellent time management skills and deadline driven.
- A high level of confidentiality, reliability, and responsibilitys.
