We are seeking a dynamic Director, People and Culture to be a pivotal force in this change, modernizing HR practices and energizing our workforce to support our ambitious goals. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Managing Director.

About the Job
The Director, People and Culture will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Managing Director and executive team. This role is the driving force behind the people and culture strategies that will underpin the club's success and will be a visible and accessible leader. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic and Operational HR Leadership: Aligning HR strategy with business objectives, budgeting and transformation initiatives, and leading the development and operationalization of departmental goals in line with the overall resort strategy, core values and workplace compliance standards.
- Culture Transformation: Creating and championing projects that foster a high-performance, engaged, and guest-centric workforce with best-in-class HR business partnering and change management.
- HR Services and Experiences: Overseeing efficient and effective HR services, including performance management, and leveraging technology to streamline processes and SLAs.
- Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing and super-engaged team of HR professionals.
- Talent Acquisition: Leading the Talent Acquisition function to develop effective strategies for attracting and recruiting a superior workforce and creating a coveted employment brand.
- Total Rewards and Performance Management: Managing the administration and design of competitive compensation and benefits programs with best-in-class performance management systems and processes.
- Workplace Visibility and Employee Relations: Maintaining a visible and approachable presence to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels while ensuring a harmonious workforce.
- Seamless collaboration for Capability Development: Working with a new team which will be the execution arm for all Excellence Standards and Training functions.
About the Person
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality, leisure, or service industries. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in a senior HR leader at the executive level and demonstrated experience in leading culture transformation and managing organizational change with high energy and success. You must be able to translate business strategy into effective and contemporary HR initiatives. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to champion our luxury brand and service differentiator, ensuring our team delivers an unparalleled experience for both internal and external guests. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required, and a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is highly desirable. You should also have seasoned knowledge of Jamaican labor laws and best practices in HR management with impeccable stakeholder management, communication and change management skills. This executive role is active and requires you to visit all departments and locations on-site, and work beyond normal working hours.
