Location: The British Virgin Islands 

Duties & Responsibilities

1)    Maintenance and repair of equipment, including but not limited to diesel engines, air conditioners & refrigeration appliances and equipment, excavation equipment, hydraulics, AutomaticTransfer Switches, AC Power Generators, electrical and electronic equipment.

2)     Welding and fabrication

3)     Training of other employees

4)     Recording of time and Service Reports for work performed, justifying time spent

5)     Repair and maintenance of shop facilities, tools and equipment

6)     Compute clients' bills and collect payment on same

7)     Company vehicle maintenance and repair

8)     Participate in annual inventory

9)     Keep all work areas clean, including workshop, vehicles, Service areas and outside areas

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Five (5) or more years’ experience performing the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Skilled in troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems
• Able to respond quickly in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with diesel engines and hydraulic equipment
• Minimum three years (3) driving experience
• Five (5) CXC/GCE subjects including English Language and Mathematics (equivalent examination body will be considered)
• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Leading engine brands technician certifications
