Duty Officer - Kingston
Main Purpose of Job
The general purpose of this position is to record absenteeism of security officers. Also required to ensure that all alerts are satisfactorily monitored.
Qualification & Experience
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration
- Certificate in Customer Service and or Supervisory Management
- Minimum of 5 CSEC subjects inclusive of Math & English
- Strong knowledge of Databases would be an asset
- Two (2) years’ working experience in similar field
- Security Cetification is an asset
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word , Outlook etc.)
- Highly customer service oriented
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Database management skills
- Ability to work in a team
Key Activities & Responsibilities
- Monitors the work of subordinates and apply decision-making, problem solving skills to achieve KPI's
- Documents and responds to verbal and written complaints or inquiries from Clients, staff and other agencies
- Provides information on departmental regulations and procedures
- Cover shifts and arrange schedules
- Contact locations on a daily basis to check on the security officers
- Reports accurately and disseminate information to relevant parties
- Promotes quality service delivery by actively performing continuous QA reviews of calls into the centre.
- Provides positive direction and guidance to subordinates during routine and critical events
- Performs any other related duty assigned.
