COPIER REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – FIELD BASED

Job Title: Copier Repair and Maintenance Technician – Field Based

Profile: To service and repair business office equipment. To carry out installations, preventative maintenance, routine service and repair to Printers and any other business equipment at the customers’ locations and in-house.

Areas of Responsibility:

1. Achieve expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience

2. Demonstrate good technical and customer relation skills

3. Perform a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits on assigned equipment

4. Perform Basic Connected installations, sets up IP addresses, download printer drivers and provide customer training on printing standalone and network devices

5. Perform troubleshooting and repair or replace equipment components as necessary

6. Demonstrate required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignment

7. Complete technical training on new equipment as assigned

8. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary

Support:

1. Effectively execute all required territory management and call handling procedures

2. Complete all required administrative tasks (paperwork) in an accurate and timely manner

3. Comply with all company policies

Customer Service:

1. Be able to interact with external customers in order to determine service requirements and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed

2. Maintain a professional appearance at all times

3. Maintain a productive and professional relationship with all company personnel

4. Maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office

2. At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position

3. Five CXC O’ levels, including Mathematics and English

4. Experience involving computers and electronics

5. Experience in repair of office machines would be an asset

6. Knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be an asset 

Requirements:

1. Excellent oral & communication skills

2. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to conduct company business

3. Legible handwriting

4. Certificate of character from the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service
