Lead the development and execution of integrated PR and communication strategies
Manage multiple client accounts with professionalism and attention to detail
Oversee and guide junior team members; provide mentorship and performance feedback
Review press releases, content, and other work submitted by the team for approval
Build and maintain strong media relationships across various sectors
Write and edit press releases, speeches, talking points, and thought leadership pieces
Direct crisis communication efforts and reputation management strategies
Collaborate with digital and social teams to ensure consistent cross-platform messaging
Support planning and execution of client events, media briefings, and sponsorship activations
Prepare detailed media coverage reports and campaign performance insights for clients
Monitor industry trends, media shifts, and competitor activity to strengthen client strategies
Provide strategic counsel to clients, recommending proactive PR opportunities
Assist in preparing proposals or pitches for potential new clients
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
3+ years of experience in public relations or communications
Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is required
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and client management abilities
Established network of media contacts with a track record of successful media placements
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
Strategic thinker with a creative edge and proactive problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to work outside of regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by client events and operational demands
