Consults with clients in store or on site to determine needs, preferences, budget, and time specific purpose of the space and other factors affecting the planning of interior environments.

Develops design concepts that meet client needs, aesthetic taste, budget and timeline. 

Produces sample boards and / or visuals including floor plans using CAD or similar programme fo

Develops sales proposals with cost estimates using company approved systems and tools. 

Prepares Sales Orders for confirmed projects including purchase orders for agreed special order items and track status from order delivery.  

Work with staging team to install furnishings and accessories in accordance with the approved design proposal. 

Use company approved sales techniques to promote Design Studio services in the marketplace in order to achieve sales targets.  

Maintain a working knowledge of vendors and status of special orders for Design Studio Clients. 

Utilizes store software systems to maintainaccurate records of client’s purchases, orders and statuses ensure all client accounts are up-to-date and account balances maintained within approved credit terms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date files for all clients. 

Work closely with Customer Service, Warehouse and Installation Teams to ensure timely deliveries and outstanding client issues are resolved. 

Work with Marketing Team to promote Dwellings Design Studio through events and advertising. 

Work with Store Team to provide in store sales support to high value clients assisting them with selecting products that meet their needs. This will include preparing orders and conducting the salefrom inception to close. 

Provide a high quality of service and professionalism when performing all duties.
