JOB PURPOSE:
The Field Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth by building relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities and promoting LIG’s range of truck parts, accessories, lubricants and additives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Expand LIG’s customer base by prospecting and networking.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business.
- Promote and sell LIG’s products, highlighting their value propositions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Educate customers on product offerings and industry trends.
- Address customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities and industry trends.
- Provide formal reports and feedback to management regarding pricing, product demand and sales challenges.
- Identify and recommend new opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and market intelligence.
- Prepare and submit timely sales reports to the Field Sales Supervisor.
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, finance and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Adhere to company policies, pricing structures and discounting guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) or more CXC subjects
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Field Sales, preferably in the automotive or heavy-duty parts industry.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Knowledge of truck parts, lubricants and additives is an asset
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
