Business Development Manager

Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a professional, dynamic and self-motivated leader, to work with its Best Dressed Chicken Division in the above capacity. The candidate will be responsible for developing a sustainable growth strategy focused on achieving financial targets and enhancing the Company’s market position, through strategic business and customer relationships.

The ideal candidate should possess:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution;

· An MBA as well as work experience with an international brand (s) would be an asset;

· Excellent knowledge of the poultry and further processed products;

· Excellent knowledge of customer profiles and ability to establish and expand relationships;

· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices;

· Expert knowledge of market research techniques, as well as researching business opportunities and viable income streams;

· Expert communication, negotiation, planning, organizing, presentation and analytical skills;

· Excellent customer service and human relations skills;

· Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy;

· Good knowledge of best practices in quality management systems, cold storage and sanitation;

· Competence in Microsoft Office Suite;

· A valid Food Handler’s Card;

· A valid Jamaican Driver’s Licence; a reliable motor vehicle and willing to do extensive travelling (both locally and overseas);

· Four (4) years’ experience in a similar capacity in the food manufacturing industry.
