POSITION:Brand Manager
REPORTS TO:Director of Commercial Operations
SUPERVISION GIVEN TO:Digital Marketing Officer
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
- Increases sales through advertising support and analysis of marketing impact in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
- Develops, implements and executes the marketing objectives, strategies and plans for all lines of business and prepares and manages supporting budgets and promotional plans to increase store traffic and sales.
- Develops, implements and executes advertising campaigns, new product launches, store launches, promotions, Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sale (POS) materials and other marketing activities alongside sales and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets
- Leads the development and approvals of all creative advertising in line with Unicomer (Guyana) Inc. regulations
- Monitors competitor activity and analyzes marketing impact
- Prepares post campaign reports, analysis and measurements on all promotional events and spend ROI.
- Identifies and negotiates key sponsorship and advertising opportunities; plans negotiations and determines the most appropriate medium to advertise products and services at the best cost to the Company.
- Manages the performance of the marketing team to ensure that departmental goals are met; engages in staff training, discipline and motivating, and directs duties accordingly
- Performs any other duties requested by the Director of Commercial Operations.
- Prepares all Marketing Briefs and Return of Investment (ROI) proposals prior to each Campaign for approval by Commercial Director.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management/Administration and/or related discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ managerial experience in a Marketing department for a medium to large advertising agency with two (2) years’ experience in event planning and corporate communications

- Excellent strategic and creative skills with emphasis on business and brand focus thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and adopt to changing priorities
- Strong budget management and leadership skills

- Ability to manage a media and production budget
- Good attention to detail
