Scope of Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Driver/Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics and warehouse operations. The role involves assisting with daily deliveries, ensuring stock accuracy, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily delivery of company goods islandwide.
Support with receiving, loading, unloading, counting, and stocking inventory.
Package and label products accurately for dispatch.
Verify that items billed on invoices match the products prepared for delivery.
Arrange and organize stock in the warehouse for easy access and safe storage.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and vehicle environment.
Job Requirements:
Five (5) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a driver with a valid General Driver’s License (up to 4000 KGS).
At least 1 year of warehousing or related experience.
Knowledge of Jamaica’s roadways and the Road Traffic Act/Regulations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ pounds regularly.
Pleasant personality with good interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
