Job Title: Social Media Executive

Reports To: Social Media Supervisor /Social Media & Production Director
Purpose
The Social Media Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing social media strategies and campaigns for clients within the agency. This role ensures that clients’ brands maintain a strong, engaging, and consistent online presence, driving audience growth, brand awareness, and measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to client objectives.
- Plan, create, and schedule content (posts, graphics, videos, reels, stories, etc.) across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and YouTube.
- Manage paid social campaigns (ad creation, targeting, monitoring, and optimization).
- Monitor and engage with client communities by responding to comments, messages, and online interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (reach, engagement, leads, conversions, ROI) while providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and algorithm updates to apply innovative approaches to campaigns.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and account managers to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective campaign execution.
- Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all platforms.
- Identify potential risks or online reputation issues and assist in managing crisis communication.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and campaigns, preferably within an agency setting (at least 3 years).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting ability.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Creative thinker, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- An outgoing and pleasant personality
- Able to shoot and edit reels
