 General Worker- Wash Bay - Barbados

Position based in Barbados. Eligible for the benefits defined in the international mobility policy (Employee Initiated).

Our Automotive Workshop team is currently looking for a talented General Worker- Wash Bay for Barbados who will clean vehicles in an efficient and timely manner.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Ensures service reminder stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Performs other reasonable and related duties required by Service Management.

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

• At least five (5) CSEC level passes including Mathematics and English.
• 1+ year experience in automotive detailing or car cleaning preferred
• A valid Driver’s License is required (light goods would be an asset).
• Ability to operate detailing equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums and buffers.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to handling cleaning agents and operating detailing equipment.
• Detail oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete detailing tasks within established timeframes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
