Summary:
Crew member is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support while working closely with the restaurant managers and other crew members to maintain operational standards and procedures.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Customer Service
- Serve customers according to company and specific brand procedures and guidelines
- Greet customers with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu.
- Perform duties with sense of urgency
- Process cash and card payments using cash registers and digital systems.
- Replenish work and customer areas.
- Use various selling techniques to suggest additional purchases and upsell to customers.
Food Preparation
- Prepare high-quality products consistent to the company’s guidelines and brand procedures
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to fill customer orders.
- Prepare and serve food to customers.
- Keep work areas, such as food preparation areas, and customer areas clean and organized.
Cleaning Sanitation and hygiene
- Organize, clean, and sanitize workstations and other assigned areas to maintain the standards for the company’s image.
- Observe and practice handwashing procedures according to company standards.
Safety and Security
- Practice safety and security procedures as directed by the company, management staff, and government legislation.
- Wear protective gear as stipulated in organizational policy.
General
- Ability to process and complete customer orders
- Ability to comply with company rules and regulations
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts
- Must be dependable, honest, hardworking and have the ability to handle stressful situations
- To ensure all food safety regulations are consistently observed
Other Duties
- Assist in off-loading and transferring of stocks as directed by the manager.
