Job Summary:
This role encompasses the entire customer journey from mapping and analysing market trends, influencing purchasing decisions, executing marketing campaigns, managing in-store and external promotions and supporting strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals. The candidate must be able to balance creativity with analytical insight, working with the Marketing Team to be proactive and respond with agility to the pulse of market dynamics, thereby maintaining the trendsetting status of the Brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis, customer surveys and market trend evaluations to inform pricing, business strategy, etc to influence buyer behaviour.
- Marketing Calendar: Work with the Marketing Manager to develop a dynamic calendar of seasons and activities to excite and delight customers, ensuring targets are met.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee marketing campaigns across digital, print and in-store channels to promote products and service while guaranteeing robust ROAS; manage and maintain a strong customer relationship pipeline alongside team members.
- Budget Control: Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders and ensure the timely submission of invoices for all A&P expenses to ensure these remain within budget.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Promotions & Events: Coordinate in-store promotions, product launches and community engagement events.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Category and Operations Teams to develop promotional materials and support product positioning for a seamless customer journey.
- Performance Tracking: Proactively work with the Social Media Coordinator to monitor and report on campaign performance vs sales for proactive remedial measures to be taken.
- Vendor Coordination: Build strong relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure the delivery of marketing assets on time and within budget; Garner their willing support for activities of the Brand.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail, FMCG, or pharmacy sectors.
- Experience with digital marketing, content creation and campaign management is highly desirable.

Candidate should have a valid driver’s license and possess a vehicle in good working condition that s/he is willing to use in the execution of job responsibilities. Candidate must be willing to work late hours and weekends, as required.
