The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing a variety of equipment and devices sold by the company, including HVAC products, kitchen and laundry appliances, solar energy systems, and smart devices. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical and solar installations, as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service, conduct site assessments, and support training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Solar Installation:
- Install solar panels, inverters, and related electrical components for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Perform all necessary electrical wiring for solar systems, including DC/AC circuits, grounding, and connecting to the electrical grid.
- Conduct testing to ensure systems are operational and diagnose any post-installation issues with solar panels or electrical components.
- Ensure installations adhere to local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Evaluate installation sites for optimal solar panel placement, considering shading, roof conditions, and structural integrity.
- Provide clients with clear instructions on system operation and ongoing maintenance needs.
Electrical Work:
- Install and wire electrical panels, circuit breakers, subpanels, and integrate them with various appliances and devices.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in HVAC systems, kitchen appliances, laundry units, water heaters, and pumps.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, testing results, troubleshooting, and repairs performed.
Project Coordination & Technical Support:
- Coordinate and execute projects related to HVAC, kitchen appliances, alternative energy systems, and smart devices.
- Conduct site visits, assess job requirements, and prepare material lists for upcoming installations.
- Provide technical assistance and support for complex issues related to company products and services.
- Train and assist company personnel, affiliates, and clients on product use and maintenance.
- Transport and deliver equipment as needed.
- Assist in Research & Development (R&D) for new and existing solutions.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical fields, with a focus on solar and appliance-specific products being an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CAD design software or similar tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a high level of initiative.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to conduct site assessments and prepare accurate project material lists.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment when necessary.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
