Our client in the Industrial Sector is seeking to onboard a Procurement Officer to support procurement activities across the Group.

Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer will offer support to the Procurement related activities across the Group
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely payments to suppliers and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain and update the procurement database, ensuring all vendor information, purchase records and other related procurement matters are current.
- Organize and file procurement documents, such as contracts and purchase orders, for audit and regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications / Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Administration or related field, with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
OR
- Three (3) A’ Level passes including Business or a Diploma / Associate’s Degree in Business / Administration with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Job Skills, Competencies and Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain systems, customer service processes and related business modules would be an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Passion for excellence and a proactive, solution-driven attitude.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Paint industry would be an asset.
- Open to learning and innovation with a growth mindset.
- Enthusiastic, with a readiness to champion best practices to meet challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective with communication skills, able to collaborate in small groups, able to keep abreast with multiple communication topics.
- Understanding business flow processes and able to follow them
- Industry experience in Paint Industry and knowledge of Sage Intacct / Sage 300 (asset).
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and requirements (asset).
