We’re currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in optimizing operations, ensuring carrier compliance, and building efficient load schedules.
Position Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, coordinating shipments from start to finish, negotiating competitive rates and fostering strong carrier relationships. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer interactions across phone, chat, and email channels with professionalism and efficiency.
- Uphold exceptional service standards in alignment with company policies, SOPs, and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain accurate and secure customer records within company systems.
- Consistently meet and exceed established performance targets and service-level expectations.
- Verify carriers to ensure compliance with company standards and all applicable legal regulations.
- Build and schedule loads based on customer requirements and broker instructions.
- Confirm pick-up and delivery appointments with shippers and receivers according to company communication protocols.
- Ensure all loads meet profitability margins as set by brokers, documenting margin calculations where applicable.
- Provide real-time updates to brokers, customers, and carriers using approved communication channels (phone, email, load boards).
- Identify potential delays early, escalate when necessary, and take corrective action to maintain service levels.
- Negotiate rates that meet or exceed company profitability standards while maintaining carrier relationships.
- Communicate professionally, providing clear and concise updates to all stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Required:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
- Proficiency in handling multiple phone lines, emails, freight systems, and load boards.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or 3PL.
- Familiarity with logistics software/tools (training provided).
