KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurate and timely processing of all forward logistics inventory-related activity. That is:

Picks and issues items due for dispatching ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness whilst adhering to quality standards. The following must be observed:
The First in First to Expire picking strategy
The operations batch management practices
The relevant quality approval status
In accordance with the customer's requested delivery date.
Ensures that documents are completed and updated with the relevant information as per the procedure.
Performs pre-shipment checks for outgoing shipments by ensuring that the correct item, quantity, and lot number are recorded

PLANNING & ORGANIZING: Maintains housekeeping standards including replenishment, organizing, and consolidation of short fill pallets, repair of damaged cases, and transfer of items off pallets identified as'damaged'.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Supports effective inventory management and control for increased delivery effectiveness, efficiency, and accurate financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma in operations Mgmt. Business Administration/Management Studies/Supply Chain Professional qualifications.
• 2-3 years relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledgeable of an Inventory Management system – (Examples - SAP, ORACLE etc)
