Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator to support the digital marketing efforts of the Yolanda Group Limited.
This role is focused on hands-on production - capturing, creating and editing of high-quality photo and video material for various digital platforms to showcase our products, services, and brand stories and enhance audience engagement and promotes sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality, original photos and videos of restaurant menu items, daily specials, chefs in action, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes prep.
- Film and photograph used vehicles in inventory including walkarounds, behind-the-scenes content, test drives, interior/exterior highlights, and customer handovers.
- Produce multimedia content for various social media platforms including the company websites, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Coordinator to create a social media calendar and meet content schedules.
- Edit raw footage and imagery using tools such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, or Cap Cut to ensure quality, consistency and brand alignment.
- Adapt content for each platform (vertical, square, horizontal) and resolution (HD, mobile-friendly, etc.).
- Add branding overlays, animations, subtitles, music, and transitions to improve viewer retention.
- Attend and document special events such as test drive days, product launches, food festivals, or customer appreciation events.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Associate's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation or photography; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Professional Training in Videography, Photography, Graphic Design, Video Editing or social media is a plus.
- Portfolio of prior content work required (links or samples).
- Strong photography and video editing skills.
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut or equivalent digital media editing tools.
- Proficiency with major social media platforms - Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Jamaican culture and trends in food, lifestyle, logistics and cars is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Flexible working hours with occasional travel between business locations and weekend or evening work.
- Must be able to work on-site at both the restaurant and car dealership as needed.
- Split responsibilities between locations of different businesses.
