Lift Tec Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic / Forklift Operator to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of industrial and construction equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

• Conduct engine overhauls, brake repairs, and transmission and electrical diagnostics.

• Maintain accurate service records, including parts usage and repair reports.

• Test equipment after repairs to ensure optimal performance.

• Respond to emergency breakdowns both on-site and in the field.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and equipment operators regarding repair timelines and equipment status.

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in heavy-duty equipment repair.

• Proficient in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.

• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in physically demanding environments.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Must be able to drive a standard (manual) vehicle.

• Must be able to operate a forklift.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized trade school or apprenticeship program.

• Experience with equipment brands such as Hyster, JCB, SANY, or Crown.

• Welding and fabrication skills.

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).
