Job Title: Zone Sales Manager ( Mandeville)
(a) Qualification and Experience:
- First Degree or equivalent accreditation in Business Administration or Management Studies or equivalent qualifications;
- Five (5) years’ post qualification experience in a similar or related function.
(b) Specific Knowledge (however acquired) Required to Start:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the FMCG industry;
- Fair knowledge of direct distribution systems;
- Sound knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services;
- Sound knowledge of supervisory and human relations management
(C) Responsibilities and Duties:
- Establishes proper routing scheduling of visits to ensure that all outlets within the zone are satisfactorily served on a regular basis
- Monitors delivery system to ensure that customers obtain their complete orders on time
- Assists with the development of sales budgets in keeping with the company’s objectives
- Manages Van Operators in order to ensure that sales objectives are achieved
- Monitors customer complaints, especially with respect to sales/delivery issues in order to ensure that these issues are addressed
- Liaises with Brand Managers in respect of promotional activities and the development of new products
- Carries out daily trade visits to ensure proper distribution of products and to build good client relations
