Position Title: Retail Store Lead
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (on alternating weeks)
Position Summary:
Premium Seafood Ltd is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Retail Store Lead to oversee the daily operations of our gourmet seafood shop. This role requires someone with a passion for food, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory and support marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the gourmet retail store
- Maintain proper stock levels and organise product displays
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and reconcile cash at end of day
- Support and participate in promotional and marketing initiatives
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store
- Monitor product quality and assist with basic food prep or customer education, as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience with food or cooking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to self-manage, stay motivated, and work independently
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and working knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
- Retail or hospitality experience preferred
